A Website That Qualifies the Lead: Inside Mint Group Business Solutions

March 25, 2024 · 5 min read · MPC Studios

Business buyers do most of their homework before they ever talk to a salesperson. Gartner's research on the B2B buying journey found that buyers spend only about 17% of their purchase time meeting with potential suppliers, and much of the rest researching independently. For a company that sells a complex financial service, the website carries the conversation for most of that time, and it has to explain the offer clearly enough that the right prospects raise their hands.

That is especially true for businesses that serve high-risk industries. Payment processors often treat call centers in debt collection or student loan consolidation as high-risk merchants, which can mean declined applications or frozen accounts. Those buyers arrive skeptical, and they look for proof that a provider understands their industry before they share any details about their business.

Mint Group Business Solutions works with exactly those businesses. The company describes its offer as "a full 360 degree approach to your call center business," covering merchant processing, chargeback management, compliance, financing, and growth strategy for industries that include "student loan consolidation, debt collection and settlement, auto warranties, credit repair, tax resolution and more." Its new website launched this month.

A homepage that opens with the buyer's question

The homepage leads with the question Mint Group's prospects are already asking themselves: "Is Your Merchant Processor Working For You?" A looping video of a call center floor plays behind the headline, and a single button underneath reads See If You Qualify. There's one message and one action, so a visitor knows within a few seconds who the site is for and what to do next.

The Mint Group Business Solutions homepage hero in a browser: the green and white Mint Group logo and a menu of Services, Blog, and Contact over a dark blue photo of a call center agent at a computer, with the headline Is Your Merchant Processor Working For You? and an outlined See If You Qualify button.
The homepage asks the question Mint Group's prospects are already asking, and offers one next step.

Eight services, explained without the jargon

Below the hero, the site states its promise in three lines, "Empower Your Business. Ensure Your Compliance. Elevate Your Success.", and then lays out eight services in a grid, starting with merchant processing and chargeback management and running through Mint Group's own CRM, business financing, lead generation, and help staying compliant. Each card pairs a custom icon in the brand's navy and mint green with a sentence or two about the problem the service solves, and each one links to its own page.

Payment services are full of terms that mean little to someone outside the industry, so the descriptions stay focused on outcomes. Chargebacks, the disputed charges that can get a merchant's account shut down, are framed as a threat to "resources and reputation." The automatic credit card updater is described as a way to "unlock unpaid invoices and streamline repayment."

The Services menu at the top of every page lists all eight with a one-line description under each name, so a visitor can find the right service from anywhere on the site without opening the full list.

Eight services, each with its own icon, a plain-language description, and a link to a detail page.

Service pages that answer "why you"

Every service page follows the same structure. An introduction explains the service, a section titled How We Set Ourselves Apart lays out five reasons to choose Mint Group, from trusted partnerships and industry expertise to the technology behind the service, and a section called Your Industry. Your Partner. speaks directly to the call centers Mint Group serves. Each page ends with a phone number to call. A prospect who lands on a single service from a search result gets the full case for Mint Group on that page alone.

Proof, placed where skeptical buyers look for it

For an audience that has been burned before, proof matters as much as promises. The homepage includes a Who We Work With section that names the industries Mint Group serves, so a debt collection agency or a tax resolution firm can see itself on the page. A row of animated counters shows the merchants Mint Group works with, the revenue generated for clients, the leads delivered every day, and the dollars financed.

A testimonial carousel follows, with a View More link to a full testimonials page. One client sums up what the company is known for: "Mint Group has a sense of urgency that a lot of companies don't."

Every page ends at the same door

Every page on the site closes with the same green banner, "Mint Group is Your Path to Success," and the same See If You Qualify button. The button leads to a qualification form that asks for a name, business name, years in business, industry, monthly credit card processing revenue, email, and phone number, all in a single step. Spam filtering screens out automated submissions before they reach the team.

Those few fields tell Mint Group's sales team whether a prospect is a fit, and what to prepare, before the first call. The visitor fills out a short form, and the team gets a lead it can act on the same day.

The qualification form collects what the sales team needs for a first conversation in one short step.

Clear on every screen

The site carries Mint Group's navy and mint green palette and clean, geometric type throughout, and every page adapts to a phone. The menu folds into a single button, the service grid stacks into one column, and the qualification form keeps its fields full-width and easy to tap, so an operations manager can check qualification from a phone between calls.

What other financial service providers can take from this site

Mint Group sells to buyers who do their research alone and arrive cautious, and the site is built for that reality. It leads with the buyer's own question, explains each service in terms of the problem it solves, and gives every service a page that can make the full case to someone who never sees the homepage. The proof sits where a skeptical reader looks for it, close to the services and before the call to action.

The other lesson is about focus. Every page ends at the same next step, and that step asks only for what the sales team needs to start a useful conversation. For any company selling a considered, high-trust service, one clear path from interest to a qualified lead is among the most valuable things a website can offer the sales team.
