Each year, advertising professionals submit their best print pieces, commercials, websites and other advertising production for competition to the Rio Grande Valley chapter of the American Advertising Federation. Advertising professionals from across the Rio Grande Valley gathered February 18th to honor the winners at this year’s American Advertising Awards.
Only one creative firm in South Texas received prestigious ADDY Award recognition for outstanding website design this year. The winning website design firm was MPC Studios, for the new McAllen Chamber of Commerce website McAllenChamber.com.
“We were thrilled that the judges recognized what an awesome website the new McAllen Chamber of Commerce is,” says David Watkins MPC Studios CEO. “There were some really excellent websites competing this year, and I think that fact speaks quite highly of the winning site.”
This isn’t the first time the McAllen Chamber of Commerce has received recognition for having a great Chamber of Commerce website, having received numerous recognitions for previous sites created by MPC Studios.
“We’ve been using MPC Studios as our website development partner for more than 15 years”, says Steve Ahlenius, McAllen Chamber of Commerce President. “Our previous websites with MPC Studios have won some great awards, so I told David that the new website had better win too.” He laughs.
Luckily for the MPC Studios team, they did not disappoint. MPC Studios has locations in McAllen and Harlingen and has been developing custom websites since 1998.
