MPC Studios Using Flowr

The MPC Studios Team recently began using Flowr, a private social networking tool for businesses. It is essentially like an integrated Facebook and Twitter but exclusively for your team or company.

It’s great to see everyone on the MPC Team is actively participating, sharing the projects they are currently working on, and collaborating. It’s useful for instant communication and keeping everyone in the loop. With the company’s growth and the opening of the new McAllen office thorough and constant communication has become a priority. Flowr is helping us to bridge the the distance gap.

Flowr has a very Facebook-esque interface with the ability to post status messages, ideas, questions, pages, events, to-do lists, and polls. You can also follow others to receive their updates just as with Twitter. They even have a free iPhone app available for keeping in touch on the go.

It allows attaching links and files to posts. Storage space is dependent on the plan you sign up for. The free plan allows 10 users and 1GB of storage. If your organization needs more you can always select a pay per month option.
